The Marin Telecommunications Agency (MTA) is a joint powers authority (JPA) responsible
for franchising and regulating telecommunications services in Marin County, California,
and for setting policies that provide effective and efficient telecommunications to
the community.
It is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors composed of representatives from the County of Marin and the
cities/towns of Belvedere, Corte Madera, Fairfax, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Ross, San Anselmo, Sausalito, and Tiburon.
