MEDIA CENTER FORMATION
The MTA Board of Directors has retained The Buske Group to assist in the effort to establish a new media center nonprofit organization and hire its initial Executive Director.
MEDIA CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM), a nonprofit organization, has been established to provide media and related services to Marin County. It will also provide nearly limitless opportunities for community outreach, production and education through public, educational, and government (PEG) access channels that will be available through the Comcast and AT&T cable/video systems and on the Internet. 

This CMCM was formed to manage PEG access channels on the cable/video systems.  CMCM is structured to serve residents of Marin who wish to use the cable/video systems for local community communications.  The Board members attend and actively participate in regular board and committee meetings, especially during the current start up period.

The Board of Directors is responsible for developing the mission, policies, and direction of this new nonprofit organization. The Board is currently undertaking a search process for an Executive Director, who will implement operational policies and procedures, and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the community media center.
